Mike started in the aluminum boat industry in 1974 at Alumaweld Boats as a family owned business. From 1977 thru 1987 he had the opportunity to train with notable marine architect and engineer, Morris Torrgason to learn the art of lofting boats from engineered drawings into full scale boat templates. With his boating background and training he excelled in his ability to produce an extraordinary and innovative product line for Jetcraft as a co-owner from 1988 thru 1998. He then went on to design an all new style of boats for his present company, Boulton Powerboats.
